Welcome to InterCity Coach! Please read these Terms of Service
carefully before using our services. By accessing or using our services,
you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree
to these terms, please refrain from using our services.
Service Description:
InterCity Coach, operated by Bakawan Sdn Bhd
provides transportation services through our fleet of buses. We aim to
offer safe, reliable, and efficient transportation to our passengers and
their belongings.
Ticketing and Reservations:
2.1. Ticket Purchase: Tickets can be purchased
through our website, our counters or authorized ticketing agents. The
availability of tickets is subject to seat availability. Children above
the age of 2 will need a ticket.
2.2. Reservation Changes: Passengers are allowed to
reschedule their travelling period 24 hours before departure, subject to
availability and any applicable fees and/or restrictions. Each
passengers are eligible to one (1) ticket rescheduling.
2.3. Cancellations and Refunds: No cancellation or
refund allowed once purchases are made.
Boarding and Travel:
3.1. Boarding: Passengers must present a valid
ticket before boarding the bus.
3.2. Identification: Passengers are required to
provide a valid identification document for verification purposes.
3.3. Luggage Policy: Passengers are allowed to
carry maximum of 2 pieces luggage (maximum 20kg combined) per passenger,
subject to space availability and any applicable restrictions. We
reserve the right to refuse oversized or prohibited items. Additional
charges may be applied for overweight / oversized items.
3.4. Food Policy: Wet items and/or items with heavy
smell are not allowed on board. Carrying or consuming liquor inside the
bus is prohibited. We reserve the right to deboard inebriated/drunk
passenger.
3.5. Conduct: Passengers are expected to behave
respectfully towards other passengers and staff. Any disruptive or
unlawful behavior may result in denial of service or removal from the
bus.
Schedule and Delays:
4.1. Schedule Adherence: We strive to adhere to the
published schedules; however, unforeseen circumstances such as traffic,
weather conditions, or mechanical issues may cause delays. We will make
reasonable efforts to inform passengers of any significant schedule
changes or delays.
4.2. Pick-up Time: We are not obliged to wait
beyond the scheduled departure time of the bus. Kindly arrive 15 mins
prior to time of scheduled departure. No refund will be entertained for
late arriving passengers.
4.3. Liability: We are not liable for any losses or
damages arising from delays or missed connections.
Safety and Liability:
5.1. Passenger Safety: Passengers are expected to
follow all safety instructions provided by the bus driver or staff.
5.2. Personal Belongings: We are not responsible
for any loss, damage, or theft of passengers' personal belongings.
5.3. Limitation of Liability: Our liability for any
damages or losses, including personal injury, is limited to the extent
permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
Privacy and Data:
6.1. Data Collection: We may collect and store
personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our
services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal
information.
6.2. Data Security: We prioritize the security of
your personal information and implement reasonable technical and
organizational measures to protect it from unauthorized access,
disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of
transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute
security.
Amendments and Termination:
7.1. Amendments: We reserve the right to modify or
update these Terms of Service at any time.
7.2. Termination: We may terminate or suspend your
access to our services without prior notice in case of a breach of these
Terms of Service or for any other valid reason.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and
construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. The courts in
Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any disputes
arising out of or in connection with this Terms of Service.
Severability:
If any provision of these Terms of Service is
deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain
in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement:
These Terms of Service constitute the entire
agreement between InterCity Coach and the user, superseding any prior
agreements or understandings.
InterCity Coach reserves the right to modify this
Terms of Service at any time
By using the services provided by InterCity Coach,
you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these
